Financial Info

Quality dentistry should be affordable! At Cañon Family Dental, we strive to do what we can to help make your treatment attainable. We do this in three ways: we accept a wide range of insurances, we work with Care Credit, we take multiple forms of payment and we offer an In-office Plan for those with no insurance coverage.

We Accept Insurance

By accepting insurance, we are contracting with your insurance company to reduce our fees for you and to have your insurance pay up to their contribution limit. So even if you feel like “my insurance doesn’t pay much,” it’s probably doing more than you realize, if only by setting lower fees for you. And our staff takes care of submitting the insurance claims for you and handling their payments on your behalf.

Our office accepts a wide variety of insurances including Aetna, FMH, Delta Dental, United Concordia, MetLife, GEHA, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health Care, Medicaid for individuals 20 years old and younger, and CHP+ for children.

If you don’t see yours on this list, please give our office a call at 719-285-4784 to see if we accept your insurance.

Exclusive Cañon Family Dental Membership Plan

If you don’t have dental insurance, treatment can be difficult to afford. Sometimes, this leads people to miss regular cleanings and to postpone treatment. That’s why we offer the Cañon Family Dental Membership Plan. For a low monthly fee, members will get two regular visits per 12 months, which includes X-rays, 2 regular cleanings (or 2 perio maintenance), and an exam (and fluoride treatment for children). In addition, there is a 15% discount for all other treatment for things like fillings, extractions, deep cleanings, etc. We hope this plan makes dental care and improved oral health within reach! Sunbit

Canon Family Dental has partnered with Sunbit. To help you Smile Now and Pay-over-time, we now offer access to flexible payment plans for your dental needs. Check out your financing options today.

Payment Plans with CareCredit

After discussing a patient’s treatment needs and then reviewing the out-of-pocket costs, a frequent question we get asked is if we will take payments. This is where CareCredit can help. They are a company that provides what is essentially a credit card for healthcare.

Once you are approved, you can use that card to pay for your dental treatment (and other healthcare as well) and then you make payments to them. We can help with the application process right from our office or you can click here to fill out the application!

Multiple Payment Options

We accept payment in multiple forms – whether cash, check, or credit card. And, of course, we accept CareCredit and Sunbit.

Again, if you have any questions about your insurance, a treatment plan we presented to you, or a statement you got in the mail from us, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 719-285-4784. We’ll do our best to answer your questions and help in any way we can!
